Could ultrasonic coffee machines become commercial?

An article in the Guardian discusses a new method for brewing coffee developed by Australian scientists. This method involves sonicating coffee grounds, which means using sound waves to extract more flavor and caffeine.
The resulting coffee is described as thick, cold, and very flavourful. There are challenges with commercialising this new technology, including the size and noise of the machines, but it's interesting to see yet another technology development in the coffee sector.
