Japan launches shellfish and vegetables vending machines

Japan is famous for its number and variety of vending machines, but the impact of Covid-19 has caused even more out-of-the-box thinking from some businesses.

Some of the most unusual vending machines to have appeared recently include ones selling shellfish and fresh vegetables, both located in the city of Chibu, not far from Tokyo.

Apparently the business owners were encouraged to try these new avenue revenues after losing nearly half of their usual restaurant custom due to government restrictions.
