Sausage vending machines booming in Germany

A recent article from the Independent reports that sausage vending machines are booming in Germany, becoming particularly popular outside of major cities, where shops typically have shorter opening hours.
Alongside sausages, the vending machines are also used to sell other types of meat, as well as milk and eggs. With over 570,000 vending machines in Germany, residents have plenty of choice!
