A school in the United Arab Emirates has introduced smart vending machines utilizing facial recognition technology to encourage healthier student habits.
The system identifies pupils, tracking their nutritional intake and parental spending limits, while actively blocking purchases of unhealthy options if daily dietary thresholds have already been exceeded.
