Vending machines included in VAT Reduction

The Automatic Vending Association (AVA) have confirmed that vending machines are included in the recent VAT Reduction announced by HMRC.
Planet Vending have posted an article providing more details on the clarification, which details what type of site the vending machine must be located on, and what types of products it must sell, in order for it to be legible for the reduction.
The reduction covers hot drink, soft drinks and food, but does not include grocery items such as confectionery and snacks.
